Soccer Noir

Stripped of United FC’s signature Furman purple, these photos focus on the emotion, movement, and intensity of the game. Black and white also helped hide some of the limitations of my early work with a cheap Canon SL2, but the gritty, imperfect look became part of what makes them feel so powerful.
